Privacy Policy

k3v Technologies LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company ("k3v Technologies," "k3v," "we," "us," "our"), operates this website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who processes it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible, we do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal information. Questions? Email kevin@k3v.build.

1. Information we collect

• Information you provide. When you use the contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, optional company name, and the contents of your message.
• Information collected automatically. When you visit, our hosting provider and the service providers listed below may receive standard technical data, including your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, the pages you request, referring URLs, and timestamps. This is used for delivery, security, and abuse prevention.
• Spam prevention. The contact form includes a hidden field that is not visible to people. If it is filled in, we treat the submission as automated and discard it. We do not use CAPTCHAs or behavioral bot-detection scripts.

2. How we use your information

We use the information to respond to your inquiry and communicate about a potential or active engagement; to operate, secure, and maintain the website; to prevent fraud and abuse; and to comply with legal obligations. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are your consent (when you contact us), our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site and responding to inquiries, and compliance with legal obligations.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only:

• with the service providers listed below, who process it on our behalf;
• when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request;
• to protect the rights, property, or safety of k3v Technologies LLC, our clients, or others; and
• in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets), where we will require the recipient to honor this Policy.

4. Service providers

We rely on a small number of third parties, each processing only the data needed for its function, under its own privacy terms:

• Amazon Web Services (Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront): hosts and serves this website. Origin storage is in the United States. CloudFront is a global content delivery network, so static page files may be cached and served from edge locations outside the United States, and those edge locations receive your IP address and request metadata.
• FormSubmit (formsubmit.co): receives, processes, and forwards contact-form submissions. Your submission passes through and is stored on FormSubmit's systems, subject to FormSubmit's own privacy terms and retention practices, which we do not control.
• Google LLC (Gmail): our business email is hosted by Google. Any message you send us through the contact form or by email — including your name, email address, company, and message contents — is delivered to and stored in a Google-hosted mailbox.

Web fonts are served from our own domain rather than from a third-party font service, so simply viewing a page on this site does not disclose your IP address to any font provider.

5. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies at all. It does not use analytics, advertising trackers, tag managers, tracking pixels, session recording, or browser storage of any kind, and it does not track you across other sites. Loading a page on this site makes no requests to any third-party domain — every asset, including fonts, is served from k3v.build. The only time your information reaches a third party is when you choose to submit the contact form or send us an email, as described in Section 4.

6. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and reputable cloud infrastructure with access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data retention

We keep contact-form messages in our mailbox only as long as needed to respond and to maintain a reasonable record of our correspondence, after which we delete them. We retain information longer where required by law. Please note that FormSubmit and Google may retain their own copies of a submission under their respective retention policies, which operate independently of ours; deleting a message from our mailbox does not necessarily delete it from their systems. If you ask us to delete your information, we will delete what is within our control and tell you what is not.

8. International data transfers

We are based in the United States, and the personal information you send us is processed and stored in the United States by the providers listed in Section 4. As noted above, CloudFront may serve cached page files from edge locations worldwide.

If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. For these transfers we rely on the safeguards our providers make available under their own terms and on your consent when you choose to contact us. We want to be straightforward with you: we are a small business and we do not have individually negotiated data-processing agreements or Standard Contractual Clauses in place with our form provider. If you are in the EEA or the UK and would rather not have your inquiry pass through a United States form processor, please email us directly at kevin@k3v.build instead of using the form.

9. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email kevin@k3v.build. We will respond within the time required by law.

10. California residents

If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. To make a request, email kevin@k3v.build.

This website is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

The site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the most recent change, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
